About Us
Singapore Students Society was formed on 1st May 2006 by Saleh Omar BinTalib. Together with Najjib, Dee , Joyce, Zhi , Noh, Mark and Rathi the 1st committee faced several challenges as they tried to stabilize the society. The greatest achievement that year was Singapore Night which was planned within 3months.
The main goals of the society is to look after the welfare of Singaporean Students and SSS members studying here in Tasmania, plan events for these students to create a dynamic community away from home.
